University of Maryland, Baltimore County — Reach Out Retrievers Campaign

Project Overview
The Reach Out Retrievers campaign was created to educate UMBC students about available mental health resources and public health directives during the COVID-19 pandemic. The initiative aimed to normalize help-seeking behaviors, share accurate health information, and strengthen student well-being.

Role
Collaborated with UMBC administration to develop the campaign strategy and visual identity. Oversaw design and production of a comprehensive suite of deliverables, including flyers, posters, note cards, social media assets, giveaways, exhibits, and animations.

Approach
Established a cohesive visual system that was approachable, student-friendly, and adaptable across both physical and digital environments. Materials were designed to be clear, accessible, and engaging to ensure wide adoption across campus.

Impact
The campaign provided consistent, visible messaging during a critical period, supporting student well-being and reinforcing UMBC’s commitment to mental health and safety. Assets were widely distributed across campus and social platforms, ensuring broad reach and engagement.
